HOW MUCH DOES A SERVICE CALL COST?
We diagnose the majority of breakdowns within the first Hour so it is unusual that you will pay more than our initial call out charge of $75.00 In rare instances when a call out exceeds one hour, no additional time is charged. If we are unable to repair the fault at the first diagnostic visit, e.g. OEM parts are required or the repair job requires several hours to be completed, we will quote only one call out.
The main cost of a major Air Conditioning Repair is, more often than not, the spare parts themselves. On occasions, we will recommend that it may be more cost-effective to replace the entire system, specifically if the unit is very old or contains R22 refrigerant gas which was banned some years ago and cannot be used to re-commission AC systems.
It has been our experience that 60% to 70% of air conditioner breakdowns that require a call out are avoidable as the faults have been a direct result of poor routine AC maintenance.
